On Tuesday, South Korean video game company Krafton revealed that their battle royale game PUBG: Battlegrounds Mobile India is now free-to-play (F2P) on PC and consoles, which is great news for fans.
"This F2P shift, which was first announced last month at The Game Awards (TGA), marks the start of a new era for the worldwide popular battle royale game," the business said in a statement.
Battlegrounds Plus, an optional premium account upgrade that allows players to access a range of additional and unique in-game features, is now available with the game's change to F2P.
While all new players will start with a basic account that gives them access to the majority of the game's features, for a one-time cost of $12.99, they may upgrade to Battlegrounds Plus and receive access to a number of additional features.
Update 15.2 is now available in PUBG: Battlegrounds Mobile India, in addition to the F2P shift.
Tactical Gear is a new category of in-game equipment included in the latest update that provides new and established players with a variety of alternatives for boosting their in-game performances that do not entail pure gunplay.
