BGMI IS GETTING SPIDER-MAN THEMED CONTENT IN JANUARY UPDATE

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has announced a partnership with Sony Pictures to deliver Spider-Man: No Way Home-themed content to the popular battle royale game. Publisher Krafton will add additional material to the game as part of a forthcoming update, which players may obtain by completing tasks in the game. In December of last year, BGMI teased the addition of unique Spider-Man content to the game, and Krafton said the BGMI Version 1.8 update will be available later this month.
The multiplayer battle royale game for Indian gamers, Battlegrounds Mobile India Version 1.8, will introduce special content to the game, including collaborative skins, as part of BGMI's maiden cooperation with Sony Pictures. According to Krafton, gamers who accomplish in-game tasks will be able to claim these unique products on BGMI. The Spider-Man: No Way Home collaboration will debut on BGMI in "mid-January," although the publisher has yet to announce an official release date or other specifics.
After the release of the film (starring Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Zendaya) on December 16, BGMI isn't the first online multiplayer game to have a partnership starring the popular web-slinging superhero. Epic Games' famous battle royale game Fortnite received Spider-Man-themed stuff in December, including skins, harvesting equipment, gliders, emotes, and back bling, as part of its Battle Pass. Fortnite also included two previously available on the Item Store premium skins for Spider-Man and MJ (Michelle Jones-Watson).
With the release of the Battlegrounds Mobiles India 1.7 update in November of last year, Krafton brought exclusive material from Riot Games' popular Arcane series to Netflix. Characters, places, and equipment from the League of Legends-based TV series, as well as a new piggyback mode, were included with the update. In addition, the game had a Mirror World option that enabled players to choose between Arcane's Vi, Jinx, Jayce, or Caitlyn.
"Enter the Spider-Man zone." "Welcome to the universe," writes Krafton's new Facebook teaser, implying that when the BGMI update hits later this month, Krafton will include a lot of new material based on the film.
